ABOUT US
Newark Circle of Sisters’ mission is to empower women through the principles of sisterhood, purpose, passion and service; ultimately creating a stronger network of women in Newark who support one another as we work to meet community needs.
We are the largest network organization in the City created by women, for women; with a membership of over 3,000 and growing every day. NCOS women give to the City of Newark with persistence, dedication and a love that is unparalleled. Our work covers the five wards and many different areas of service - social services, the arts, education, healthcare, housing, and politics just to name a few.Each year, NCOS selects a group of women who have demonstrated strength, honor and service to our community. We recognize these women for their work and affectionately induct them into our “Hall of Flames”.Join us April 2nd as we celebrate the 2016 Hall of Flamers. This year we are proud to acknowledge:
