About the event

Surprise Stories is the world's first storytelling game show. Six lucky storytellers are selected to play in advance. They are given themes picked at random by the audience. Two storytellers face off against each other at a time. The audience decides who told the better story. The winners of the first three rounds advance to the final round where one winner is chosen. Everyone who plays gets a prize.

Modern storytelling is an emerging art. Right now we are a grassroots operation, but we are growing steadily. We have consistently packed more and more people into this space each month. You will get ample exposure both on our Facebook page and during the show. A team of improvisors will also do a sketch involving your organization during the show. 

Colin Wilhm

Colin Wilhm is a Moth storytelling champion. He helped produce the feature documentary film Catfish, and the Emmy Award Winning HBO documentary series The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. He currently curates two storytelling shows in NYC and was recently placed in charge of the Unicorn school's storytelling progem.
