About the event
We are producing a one day music festival called “Smoky Porch Music Fest 2016” here in Charlotte this summer. The festival will take place at Amos’ Southend on July 9, 2016 from 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM. There will be food trucks on sight and other great activities throughout the day. 12 bands will be playing at the festival including some big name headliners that we have been in contact and will soon start working on contracts with including Jim Avett and The Spongetones. The genres will vary between folk, alternative, rock, and others so the music will be very diverse and attract all sorts of music lovers. Amos’ Southend holds 1,200 people and we are confident that we can sell out the venue considering the acts that we are bringing in and the promotion and advertising we will be doing for the event.
