About the event

For ten years, the members of Omega Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® have been committed to strengthening our communities through service, leadership, scholarship, advocacy, and sisterhood. Since our chartering in April 2017, our members have dedicated thousands of volunteer hours to addressing critical community needs while creating opportunities for youth, families, seniors, and underserved populations throughout Cleveland and Rutherford Counties.

As we approach our 10th Chapter Anniversary in April 2027, we invite you to join us in celebrating a decade of impact through our anniversary campaign, 10 Years of C.L.A.S.S.

More than a celebration, this campaign reflects our chapter's ongoing commitment to Community, Leadership, Achievement, Service, and Sisterhood. Throughout the anniversary year, we will engage members, partners, and community stakeholders in meaningful activities that honor our history while investing in the future.

Our anniversary campaign will feature:

• Ten signature community service projects designed to address local needs and create measurable impact

• A Legacy Museum highlighting ten years of service, leadership, scholarship, community partnerships, and chapter milestones

• An Anniversary Tea honoring our history, accomplishments, and distinguished guests

• A Gala Celebration featuring fellowship, entertainment, and recognition of those who have contributed to our success

• Community storytelling and historical preservation initiatives documenting the chapter's journey and impact

• Commemorative keepsakes recognizing participants, supporters, and community partners

Why should you sponsor?

Our anniversary campaign is just the beginning. In addition to our 10th Anniversary celebration, the chapter hosts and develops annual signature programs, community service initiatives, educational events, scholarship activities, and fundraising opportunities throughout the year. Sponsors who invest in our anniversary campaign will receive priority consideration and the first right of refusal to renew their sponsorship at the same level for future annual events and partnership opportunities.

Venita Jamerson

I bring more than 15 years of experience in accounting, operations, project management, nonprofit leadership, and event management. Throughout my career, I have built a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and delivering results.

In addition to leading community and nonprofit initiatives, I have experience working with national sports organizations, where I managed sponsor and partner relationships and helped ensure sponsors received the value and recognition promised. I understand that sponsorship is an investment, and I am committed to delivering a positive return through strong execution, clear communication, and meaningful community impact.

I don't view sponsorship as a one-time transaction—I believe in building long-term partnerships based on trust, accountability, and shared success. When I make a commitment, I follow through, and that's the standard I bring to every sponsor relationship.
