Second Annual Men's Open Tennis Tournament,

About the event

Our Second Annual Men's Open tennis tournament will have a draw of 32 high-level players who will be supported by their coaching teams and numerous tennis fans coming from Westchester County, NYC, and Southern Connecticut.  The players will be competing for the right to take $3500 home in prize money. A portion of the money raised will go towards the arrangement of tennis clinics for Backyard Sports Cares, a non-profit organization that supports the disadvantaged youths within our community.

We can offer extensive exposure to a very curated, affluent crowd. Corporate executives, managing directors, entrepreneurs, and investors are among our clientele and attendees of the event. 

We are expecting 200+ attendees who are interested in sports, travel, healthy living, and high-end lifestyle. The age range is 13-60 y/o. The median household income of most of our clients and attendees is $200,000+. 

Our sponsors will be supporting a small business that strives to help junior athletes to achieve their dreams and enjoy this wonderful sport, regardless of their financial means.

Johnny Gularte

Johnny Gularte Tennis Development is a successful high-performance tennis program in Westchester County, New York. Fifteen years ago, the director of the program Johnny Gularte, a native of Uruguay, had to leave his homeland and his family to come to the United States to follow his passion for coaching tennis. With no knowledge of English and only a few hundred dollars in his pocket, he was determined to build the business of his dreams. Today he is the coach to many sectional and nationally ranked players. For the last several years, the program has been producing top players who have joined tennis teams at prestigious universities across the country. In 2017 JGTD joined forces with Proform Tennis Academy to continue helping players reach their maximum potential.
