Salsa Night Hosted by Christine Shoshannah,

Silk Factory, Newburgh, New York, United States Silk Factory, Newburgh, New York, United States

  • About the event

In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month I’m hosting a special Salsa Night Dance Fiesta with performances by Cuboricua Salsa Band followed by my set.

    Friday 9/23 doors at 7pm

Tickets are available in advance for$30 or $40 at the door.

This event is located at Silk Factory 299 Washington St. Newburgh, NY

A portion of proceeds will go to non-profit organization Safe Harbors of the Hudson Valley.

    About the show:

Christine Shoshannah is a multi-platinum songwriter, award winning vocalist and music producer from Newburgh, New York most known for her hit song “Airplanes” by B.o.B ft Hayley Williams of Paramore plus Grammy nominated “Airplanes PT 2” ft Eminem. Christine is a pop, r&b music producer with influences stemming from J.Lo and Whitney Houston to Justin Bieber & Ariana Grande.

The name Cuboricua was inspired by the music of Cuba and Puerto Rico. Cuboricua identifies with the rhythms and melodies of the caribbean; Salsa, Son, Rumba, Bomba, Plena, as well as Merengue. The veteran musicians of this conjunto, to their credit, have performed and recorded with world renown artists such as Celia Cruz, Pete "El Conde" Rodriquez, Eddie Palmieri, Monguito "el unico", los Kimbos, and the New Swing Sextet to name a few. This conjunto creates a traditional/modern energetic sound by placing the interlocking rhythmic figures of percussion and Cuban Tres under a smoothly swinging melody to create a new sound!

    Why should you sponsor?

Following a sold out album release show on 8/12/22, I decided to team up with a Latin salsa band in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

I belive this event will sell out with a hand from my audience in addition to Cuboricua, the 7 piece Latin infusion band who packs the house every month at their residency that's 2x the size of our current location.

Your brand will gain exposure to a large Latin American audience in addition to more. As the host, I can arrange several ways to put your brand in the limelight!

With your support, I will promote it to my audience and gain more donation funds from our ticket sales to give to our beneficiary who supports local homeless and low income families.
