RunwayCon is the United States premiere fashion showcase hosted by the Elevani Brand for emerging designers, models and other industry professionals since 2014. We offer affordable marketing opportunities and professional production services to those interested in breaking into the world's fast-growing market of fashion enthusiasts. Our upscale quality shows enable designers to feature their collections in front of fashion professionals, media representatives and hundreds of men and women representing the general buying public.

We seek the best and brightest, emerging and experienced designers and models who are interested in presenting their designs and talent during this exclusive multi-day fashion event. RunwayCon will be a yearly fashion show that gives back to families that infants and children are going through surgery for heart defects when born.

Nearly 1 in 100 babies (about 1 percent or 40,000 babies) are born with a heart defect in the United States each year. About 4,800 babies each year are born with CCHD. Many heart defects don’t need treatment or can be fixed easily. But some, like CCHD, can cause serious health problems or death. No parent can ever be ready to see their child go through a life changing surgery. How do we know because our son mason went through this surgery. So we would like to bring awareness to this issue. The long nights and months at the hospital seeing our little baby going from fine to critical. We vowed as a company and family to provide families that are going through the same thing we have gone through a way to get supplies and items needed.

Christopher Steele

My name is Christopher Steele and Appollonia Rankin-Steele we currently own and operate a Model Agency, Magazine and event production company for fashion and music entertainment. Last year we took a big blow when my wife had our little boy who was born premature with a hole in his heart we spent 3 months out of work during his surgery. During this time we could not leave his bed side for long amounts of time and sleeped on hard seats. Our goal is to bring awareness to this situation by helping parents while their children and infants are in the NICU across the hospitals in NYC. We would like to provide parents with medical scholarships while in the hospital with care packages with care supplies, metrocards,food vochers and help pay for 1 or 2 bills to take stress off for less fortunate parents.

We thought this would be a good idea because we already work in the fashion and entertainment industry.
