The time has come for us to UNITE and write the next chapter in the epic saga that is the NYC Rave(rs) scene. So we (NYCRavers) have teamed up with our brilliant friends over at SoundsSoSweet to deliver a legitimate fourth of july NYC RAVE MASSIVE...Rise of the Samurai : a tribute to: Samurai Jack, Samurai Champloo and Afro Samurai.

From an early age I have been enthralled with computers and the Internet as well as creating and managing various groups of people with similar interests and beliefs. I got my first high level IT job when I was 18 years old as a Systems Administrator for a fashion company on 38th and 8th (Normally would have needed a college degree for that, but I had the skil), I then worked in the IT industry for 7 years eventually becoming Director of IT for a fashion company. At the same time I ran one of the most popular online gaming communities of the time oooRGLE which at its peak had about 200,000 hits a month, eventually abandoned due to my own lack of interest, and then NYCRavers was born, which was originally meant to be an event information website, which has now become one of the top “underground” promotional companies in the North East as well as the last remaining rave promotional company in NYC. In 2011, I quit my 9-5 job in order to dedicate my time and resources into NYCR and freelance work. I now primarily focuses on marketing and consultation services for other event companies, web design, event consultation and fielding bookings for various venues. Since 2014 we’ve also been hosting stages at major music festivals and threw our own music festival in mid September of 2015 which did not do as well as it should have due to an act of god and since then we have risen from the ashes like a Phoenix, our last event as of the writing of this sold out via presales before doors were open and we have rebuilt the NYC Rave scene from the ground up.
