Operation SMILE @ TCI COLLEGE,

New York, New York, United States New York, New York, United States

  • About the event

    Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Lenny Morant, and I am a graduate student, and alumni member of both TCI College, and the Human Services Club, as Chief-of-Staff. Aside from school, I am also an upcoming designer, and rising International DJ. Along with other things, I work, working on my second Master’s degree, and just maintining life.

So, let me give you a broad idea what what the HSC club is about. The Human Services Club is a club in which students of TCI College come together, and help those that are in need. Whether we go to feed the homeless at different train stations, or give out care packages at the homeless shelters across NYC, or even going to various schools and helping our children with their homework, and gifts during the Christmas holidays. Also, our sub-division clubs, Diversity Club, and the G.L.A.D Club, which is the Gay-Lesbian Advocay & Diversity Club. The G.LA.D Club is a place where students in from our ‘rainbow community’ can come to a place where they feel safe and comfortable, and discussing issues in the environment.

I am writing this letter to you, because on behalf of my clubs, we are having a “Music Day” at our school, on Wednesday, July 22 2015. This is a fundraiser event for our cause this semester, called “Operation Smile”, newborns and children with CLEF Lip Syndrome. Cleft lip syndrome are facial and oral malformations that occur very early in pregnancy, while the baby is developing inside the mother. For more information, please visit http://www.webmd.com/oral-health/guide/cleft-lip-cleft-palate.

We are humbly asking for sponsorship, or donation participation, so we can have a successful fundraiser event for our babies who need help to smile again. We are seeking companies who are willing to donate items for us to raffle, or to give away for winning games. I believe your company would be a great fit our our event, and trust me, the HSC Club, and TCI College will not let you down.

If you would like more information on our clubs, please visit our club website at www.thehscclub.com . You can also visit my professional website at www.boogieonfire.com.

You may also contact Ms. Emma Colon-Melendez, Assistant Student Activities Director, at (212) 594-4000, ext 5338, for more information.

Thank you so much for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Warmest Regards,

    Lenny Morant
