About the event

The NEA AWARDS is an annual entertainment award show held in the United States, with the sole purpose of celebrating and recognizing the numerous contributions of entertainers to the African Entertainment Industry, while at the same time promoting the image and rich culture of Nigeria.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring the NEA awards is an oppurtinity for sponspors to creatively educate a unique group of people with ties to Nigeria and the rest of Africa. The NEA is the largest and most diverse gathering of Nigerians and Africans in the US. The awards ceremony, and its supporting events, attract the “who’s who” of Africans from the entertainment industry, the arts community, and corporate America, as well as business owners and students.

It is important to note that Nigeria has the largest economy in sub-saraha Africa and Nigeria’s Nollywood is now the second largest film industry in the world in terms of the number of annual film productions, placing it ahead of the US and behind India.​
