Visual Art Exhibition / Event - Expressing how music can combat memory loss and help patients who suffer with Dementia. Working with the organisation Music And Memory and the director of the film Alive Inside which is on Netflix. The event will be at the Projector Gallery: http://projectorgallery.com/
The event will include a film projected on the wall, some larger artworks hung on the wall and a lenticular print that the audience can interact with. I want to raise awareness of music therapy and how it can be more effective than prescription drugs with bringing back memory and emotion. I was very inspired by the Netflix film and I and Michael Rosatto Bennett who is the director of the film will both promote whoever sponsors the event.
Would need $1000 from the sponsor and in return the gallery and the foundation will both promote the sponsor all over the UK and the US.

I am a recent Arts University graduate who is low on funds but I really want to express this important topic in a creative way. I think it is important that people are aware of how important music is for bringing back memory and it enlightens those who suffer from Dementia and those around them. This would be a very inspiring and moving event.
Lois is interested in capturing the fluidity of an image in motion, particularly when the materials are rushing or glooping down the canvas. Human behaviour, the sea and lava lamps all inspire her practice.
Lois has recently graduated from Arts University where she studied Illustration for 3 years. She is very interested in raising awareness of important issues in a creative and unique way.
