"I am not a female emcee.
My gender does not define
my abilities.
I am a lyrical mastermind
blessed with a mic".
- AMET Ricky
Arryelle Vines, also known by the stage name AMET Ricky, is a lyricist, poet, and songwriter from Winston-Salem, NC. Born July 20, 1997, this young artist first began her creative journey a young age. She began dancing at the age of five as a ballerina, but changed her style into a more contemporary hip hop as she grew. By the age of 13, she was acting in theatrical plays and musicals. In 2014, she began her college journey at North Carolina Central University. From there, her musical journey as a lyricist took off. Her name became well-known. As an artist, AMET Ricky's style captivates all audiences. Her lyrical word play is enticing and her flow soothes souls. Inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, Roxanne Shante', and Common, she continues to bring a style that is innovative and refreshing to modern hip hop. As she is known to say, "I am not a female MC. My gender does not define my abilities. I am a lyrical mastermind blessed with a mic." As of now she has been nominated for two awards, one for best Indie Female Hip Hop at the Women In Charge Awards held in Atlanta,GA, and also for the Young Artist Spotlight Award at the SCM Awards held in Memphis, TN. In order to further her career to the next level, she requires the help of entertainment lawyer, Alonzo Alston. Alston is highly recognized for his work, with outstanding references and much experience. He has plans of not only helping AMET Ricky find the right label to house her career, but also wishes to see her progress as a participant in the BET "Music Matters" program. After much discussion and planning, the future of this young artist's career was set in stone. All that is missing is the fee which covers to price of Mr.Alston's work. After all donations have been collected, AMET Ricky and Mr.Alston will begin the process by first developing a contract together. They will then begin the process of contacting BET to begin setting up AMET Ricky as a Music Matters artist. Mr.Alston has also taken the initiative of finding both major and independent labels that would be a good fit for what AMET Ricky wants to do in the music industry. The biggest challenge that AMET Ricky will have to face is the patience that it takes when going into this process. There are millions of artists who wish to have the opportunity to contact labels and to be apart of BET's program, so she fully understands that she will have to be dedicated and take her creativity to a new level. If setbacks arrive, AMET Ricky will continue to pray and believe in her talents. She will continue to produce quality music that everyone can relate to and no matter what, will stick to her morals. Please help this young artist reach her fullest potential. All donations are appreciated, and from AMET Ricky herself, "Thank you for helping make this dream come true".
