Mission Statement To provide music, camping and OHV activity with a safe and friendly grassroots festival that focuses on showcasing local California entertainment, artists, vendors and community based programs.

Our Story - What started out as a campfire dream to combine the most beautiful outdoor landscape with live music, camping and OHV use, has turned into a full-fledged annual event showcasing some of the most talented bands from the West Coast. In its third year of existence, Mountain Vibe Music Gathering had grown leaps and bounds. The first gathering was “a renegade event to say the least,” says MVMG founder, Allen Drachman. MVMG exemplifies the resiliency of all participants to travel into the woods to enjoy a concert near the South Fork Yuba River, one of the great treasures in the Tahoe National Forest. As a community based event, we support land use awareness and right to public lands. In the coming years, we are enhancing the Mountain Vibe Experience by expanding, booking bigger acts, increasing vendor capacity and gaining a wider audience.
