Delve into the world of independent cinema this December at New Jersey’s newest Premier Film Festival! With over 14 hours of film, Monmouth Film Festival will feature independent films, narrative, documentary, and student, short and feature length, from all over the state, country and across the globe. Featured films will include documentaries “Swim Team (2016)” and “Jackson (2016)”, and narrative dramas, “Colby (2016)”, comedy “The Rainbow Kid (2015)”, and horror/thriller, “Shortwave (2016)”. Other events include an industry networking event (Friday, Dec 16th), Industry Film Panel (Sat Dec 17th), and awards ceremony (Sun Dec 18th). Join us at the Two River Theater in Red Bank NJ. The Monmouth Film Festival, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to promote and connect filmmakers from all over the state and country. The festival is an opportunity for artists to have their work showcased, as well as a forum for educational opportunities through workshops, networking, Q&As and special panels with industry guests; that provide insight, growth and inspiration. Our unique platform strives to create an atmosphere where novice filmmakers join with seasoned independent filmmakers and interact with movie-goers, promoters and other artists. We seek to attract local businesses to sponsor our inaugural festival taking place December 16th-18th at the Two River Theater in Red Bank New Jersey.

With the assistance and support of our sponsors, Monmouth Film Festival’s goal to grow and expand each year can and will be achieved! Aside from our annual festival event, we plan to hold educational seminars and workshops, community outreach events and seasonal online based festivals. Nicholas Marchese

Nicholas Marchese is an independent, award winning filmmaker based in Monmouth County New Jersey. A native Staten Islander, he moved to Monmouth County in 2005 where he was quickly intrigued by the County's cinematic atmosphere. His work, including his latest feature, has screened in festivals across New Jersey, New York City and Los Angeles. His latest feature, My Brother's Girlfriend, won multiple awards across the country and was acclaimed for its successful production on an extremely low budget. He now sits on the board of the Monmouth Film Festival Inc. as the Founder and President of the company.
