About the event
THE MACHO FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO INSPIRING, EMPOWERING & UNIFYING PEOPLE VIA OUR MOTTO 'MY ACTIONS CAN HELP OTHERS'. IN ADDITION TO PROMOTING THE 'MACHO' LIFESTYLE, WE ALSO EARMARK FUNDS TO SEND CHILDREN TO SUMMER CAMP AND TO HELP PEOPLE IN VARIOUS COMMUNITIES.
We believe that small gestures of good will have the potential to make the world infinitely better and we need your help to create public awareness and encourage others to live by our motto.
Summer camp can help children to be active, resilient and creative while they build confidence. The best camp experiences can have profound positive effects that stay with children through adulthood. With your support, we will choose a number of underprivileged children each year who have been nominated for demonstrating ‘MACHO’ behavior and we will reward them with the summer of a lifetime.
The MACHO Foundation also endeavors to visit schools, summer camps, corporations and communities to spread the message behind MACHO and create a long-lasting program surrounding the motto MY ACTIONS CAN HELP OTHERS. We provide guest speakers for individual classes, interactive school wide assemblies, teacher workshops, professional development for the workplace and unique MACHO programs for communities.
