About the event
Summary: The Loving Your Mate Retreat for Couples is a weekend•long event hosted by the iCandy Radio Network CEO, Radio Personality, Author, Relationship Guru and Life Coach Nakisha “Madam Cupid” King and iCandy Radio Network #1 hit show, The Relationship Handbook Live. The goal of the event is to bring couples together by enhancing team building.
Events: The Loving Your Mate Retreat will be held on June 11•14, 2015 in Charlotte, N.C. There are a series of events that last from Thursday evening until Sunday afternoon. A full listing of events follows:
● Welcome Reception: to kick off the weekend, guests will enjoy a cocktail hour evening and meet•and•greet (Throwback dance and couples Karaoke)
● The Love Coaches: Communicating effectively with your mate broken down to a science by Janie & Lois Santiago.
● Battle of the Sexes Cooking Competition: Teambuilding at its finest at Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
● Detroit style ballroom step dance lessons
● Conflict Resolution made plain. Language of Love Exercise hosted by CEO, Author, Motivational Speaker and Actress Christina Norfleet
● Domestic Violence, Dating Game, Sip & Stroke, Silent Auction and Imitate Your Mate Workshops
● Fashion Show: feature fashion of local business owners on models who are part of the local community. Put together by Owner & Lead Marketing at JEM Firm Antoinne Duane Jones
● Step in the Name of Love Black Tie Affair: Or couples put their Detroit Ballroom skills to work.
● Troy Spry (Xklusive Thoughts): Get enlightened about how to keep the fire burning in your romantic, monogamous relationship. (tentatively)
● Couples Zumba
● Farewell Brunch: Sunday brunch event to thank the guests who traveled from out of town.
Relationship coaching sessions, entertainment and five•star VIP treatment will be featured all weekend.
The cause: A portion of the ticket proceeds for the event will be going to the Autism Society of America.
Tickets: There are two tiers of ticket pricing. See below for ticket package structure:
● The Platinum Package • $300, Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s events
● The Ultimate VIP Package • $580, all events plus accommodation (hotel room included)
About The Relationship Handbook Live: A member of the iCandy Radio Network, The Relationship Handbook Live was established February 1, 2013 with the goal of broadcasting a broad mix of culture and views, with priority given to the 919 area (North Carolina). The iCandy Radio Network offers an outlet for listeners to hear new independent music and share ideas and opinions through talk shows, commercials and social media pages. They are also on a mission to give back to veterans, active duty military members and their families. The iCandy Radio Network is more than just a radio station—it is a community.
