About our event

Our event, December 22nd is a day filled with lots of joy, laughter and surprises to families with children that would otherwise go without a deserved holiday. We provide each family with many new unwrapped toys, infant clothing, fresh grocery boxes and goodies that are purchased and also provided by partners. We will service 2500 clients within LA County. 

Our families are selected due to homelessness, previous incaceration, food insecurity, unemployment and domestiv violence.

We work around the clock, 365 days a year to make sure mothers dont have to worry about diapers, feeding elders and community members that would otherwise go hungry and link members with emergency based services that are here to help and make their lives more sustainable. 

We do not turn our backs on no one and continue to have open arms to our brothers and sisters of LA County that deserve a helping hand...

Friends of Open Arms Food Pantry Toy Drive

Friends of Open Arms Food Pantry and Resource Center package allows corporate sponsors to provide a generous pledge of $2500 or more for our Annual Toy Drive of Love to LA County Community Members in December. This day serves over 1,000 families and individuals that live 200% below the poverty line that includes food insecurity and low income household. Your monetary sponsorship allows our organization to purchase toys for the event for ages 1-18 years of age.

The Jolly Volunteers that Could Package

The Jolly Volunteers that Could package allows company/corporate sponsors to provide toy donations and volunteer groups for our Annual Toy Drive of Love to LA County Community Members in December. Volunteering this day would allow team members to engage with the community, sort toys, sort donations, organize donations to replenish tables, hand off goodies, make coffee and coordinate snack trays. This day serves over 1,000 families and individuals that live 200% below the poverty line that includes food insecurity and low income household.

Holly Molly Sponsorship Package

Holly Molly Package allows company/corporate sponsors to provide a generous pledge of $5000 or more for our Annual Toy Drive of Love to support LA County Community Members in December. This day serves and brings smiles to over 1,000 families and individuals that live 200% below the poverty line that includes food insecurity and low income household. Your monetary sponsorship allows our organization to purchase toys for the event for ages 1-18 years of age and swag bags filled with goodies.

The effects of economical challenges are all around us. Unpredictable socio-economical & other disaster events happen each year. Donate now to invest in a future where we can take action to fight hunger, be a helping hand to families, keep young adults off the streets and care for the disabled while having open arms of support year after year. Together, we can make a difference. 

We provide a helping hand to those who need it the most. Open Arms Food Pantries team gives to over 5000+ families monthly food and essentials not limited to: diapers, hygiene kits, household essentials, formula, vegetables, fruits, can goods, detergent, paper goods, blankets, meal gift cards and more. We also are advocates for Art X Culture programming  inclusion for the  underserved in Los Angeles City & County.
