About the event
Local Roots NYC is excited to announce their 5th annual Good Festival: A Mini Conference. The theme for this year’s conference is “missed connections”. We seek to explore the missing gaps in the local food system and collectively find solutions to elevate local food systems in NYC. It will create a space for different players in local food, farmers/producers and consumers, to see what's lost in translation from farm to table. There will be open discussions, workshops, and skill/knowledge sharing in addition to 1 or 2 live musical performances to keep the day fun.
