I am writing to request a sponsorship for the Long Beach Latino Civic Association’s (LBLCA) Annual Dinner Dance in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. This year’s gala will be on Thursday, October 15^th at the Bridge View Yacht Club at 7:00 P.M.

National Hispanic Heritage Month became a holiday in 1965 and is observed each year from September 15^th to October 15^th, in celebration of the dynamic history, cultures and contributions of those who come from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

Our mission is to empower the Latino population of Long Beach to become contributing and integral members of this community by assisting them to embrace the American experience and their distinct Latino cultures.

The Association organizes this event to bring the community together, to celebrate the journey and accomplishments of Hispanic leaders, entrepreneurs, teachers, families and children that add so much to our city.

Long Beach’s Latino population has grown to over 15% and continues to develop in strength and influence. Our goal is to secure a sponsorship from important and caring businesses like yours. We hope that we can count on you to support our work and participate in the evening’s festivities!
