About our event
This will be an outdoor 4 hour Pride festival with 7 performences by local queer musicians and 7 vendor booths. The vendors will be queer artists and other sellers selling thier art, jewlery, handmade items, vintage clothing, ect. As an lgbt+ orginization it is important for us to make sure we are creating space for our community. This Festival is to celebrate the local queer talent in Boston.

Lavanda’s core mission is to provide safe queer community space. Our focus is on community building through the arts and hands on activities. Lavanda provides an alternative to the typical lgbt+ alcohol centered nightlife scene, instead we encourage folks to sit down, hang out, craft, shop local, enjoy some music, and connect.

Lavanda is a grassroots LGBTQ+ Music and Arts Festival aiming to build and support Boston's Queer Community. Founded by Emma Whitney in the fall of 2023, Lavanda was born out of a desire to create a place where queer folk can safely and freely express themselves while supporting LGBTQ+ artists.
Lavanda festivals provide a break from standard alcohol centered queer events by focusing on connection and hands-on activities. In addition to performances and vendor booths from queer folk, our festivals typically include free coloring pages and supplies, crafting kits, mocktails, and more.
