About the event
La Familia translates to "the family", we view this to mean one's community. Despite one's gender, race, education, or background, our communities are our family. La Familia Attire represents this idea, and is working on taking this message forward to communities and neighborhoods everywhere. We are planning a launch party to unveil our website and original t-shirt, sweater and cap design, as well as to spread our message. In addition to the clothing we plan to have local musicians perform and display artwork from local artists. The expected audience is women and men, most likely 25-45 years, those interested in fashion and emerging trends (including music and art).
