About the event

The Hudson Valley Independent Film Festival will screen over sixty films from all over the world, offer celebrity meet and greets, workshops, host local art exhibition and a Poetry Slam competition. Proceeds from our event will go to fund a scholorship that will be awarded to a local, graduating high school student who want to persue film making.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors of our event will receive VIP tickets to all our events, exclusive times for celebrity meet and greets, advertisment in our program, on the movie theater screens and on our website. Sponsors who donate over $4,000 will be advertised on our photo oportunity backdrop and have a theatre named after them. Pictures from our backdrop get posted all over socila media and sometimes include famous celebrities.

The Hudson Valley International Film Festival planning committee is a group of local film makers and actors. You can read about us on the "festival information" tab on our website. We all meet each other working on local, independent film projects and decided to create a film festival to bring these great films to our area.
