About our event

The Holiday Market at LakePoint is more than just a shopping event, it’s a celebration of community, small business, and holiday spirit. On November 15th & 16th, families from across Georgia will gather at the LakePoint Champions Center in Emerson, GA to shop with 100+ local vendors, enjoy live music, sip & shop experiences, bounce houses, and photos with Santa.

 

But beyond the fun, this market carries a deeper purpose: uplifting small businesses, strengthening the local economy, and giving back to families in need. Every vendor represents a dream, a family, and a local story worth supporting, and together they create an atmosphere of warmth and community pride. My name is Kenleigh Steele, founder of Emerson Exchange LLC. I didn’t begin this journey in a boardroom with a business plan. I began it with a folding table, a handful of local vendors, a baby on my hip, and a dream to build something that mattered.

That’s why I built Emerson Exchange: not just events, but spaces where shoppers meet makers, families discover local favorites, and side hustles grow into livelihoods. What started as a dream has grown into a movement that now supports hundreds of small businesses. From single moms paying rent, to veterans starting fresh, to teens making their very first sale.
