About the event

Homeless Feeding/Clothing - Downtown Orlando. I will be hosting every 3rd Saturday of each month.The number of volunteers are growing and so is our need for additional food and beverages. We seek local help that come out and volunteer but we could really use some more cash towards supplies, food or beverage. 

Let's take some time to give what we can to those less fortunate and homeless. Please come out and help if you can but please contact me so I can organize your involvement or contact me to donate food, water, cash, etc. Anything helps. If you are a business or restaurant, please make an effort to donate as well.

We meet in the parking lot of the St George Church @ 24 N Rosalind Ave Orlando, FL 32801.

The general turnout is 300+ people so any help is appreciated & welcomed.

We will have tables and coolers set up but if you plan on bringing a lot of stuff and have another table/cooler, please do bring it! 

If the turnout is large enough we will be sending small groups on a walk around Lake Eola and/or toward Wall St. This will be decided and coordinated once everyone arrives.

All ages are welcome, don't hesitate to bring the whole family!

NO SIGN UP NECESSARY...JUST SHOW UP!! BUT IF YOU ARE A VOLUNTEER, I'D RATHER YOU CONTACT ME TO COORDINATE.

Examples of Food you can bring to distribute: 
Sandwiches (pb&j/turkey etc), bananas, oranges, apple sauce, bottled water, clothing, socks, shoes, blankets, towels, backpacks/bags, toothbrush, toothpaste, hygiene products etc. 

Keep in mind that softer foods are preferred as some people have dental issues and can't handle a granola bar or apple. 

Everyone sort of brings whatever contribution they can to the event already packaged and ready to go, whether it be socks and clothes or lunch bags with fruit. 

If you would like to make some sandwiches and join us/help out, feel free! Or you can just drop the donations off, either way works.

Some prefer to make lunch bags with a sandwich and snack, some prefer to make hot food. The choice is yours!

If you would like to participate once you arrive just hop behind a table and help organize the donations/help distribute them. Please don't be shy, everyone is welcome to participate! 

If you cannot make it but would like to drop off donations beforehand during the week, please contact me.

This event will be recycled with a new date each time we do a feeding so please do not be discouraged if you cannot attend this one. This will not be the last!!

Why should you sponsor?

A donation and sponsorship would make it possible for us to provide a hot meal as well as some cold sandwiches to eat later at least once per week. We are trying to give back to those less fortunate and hope there are still people with a human touch willing to help us continue our mission of feeding the homeless. Please help change a life and put a smile on someone's face and a warm meal in their stomach.

I'm Nicky Iles and I've been a humanitarian since I was 7 years old but feeding the homeless monthly has gotten more and more difficult for me as the amount of attendees have grown and I've been doing this with my own cash and time for so long. I need help but I don't want to let down these people because they depend on someone being consistent to provide them a warm meal at least once a week. I'm on social media and you can view who I am by looking me up on Instagram. I'm a good person with a good heart that just needs a little help to keep doing this event monthly.
