GI Theta Chi,

About the event

GI Theta Chi is a large-scale philanthropy event, which will span several days in April. It consists  of several days of team-oriented tasks and culminating in a day-long, outdoor event with military-related games and challenges, all proceeds will benefit the United Service 
Organization (U.S.O.), a group whose primary mission is to improve the lives of our troops both overseas, and when they have returned home. We have made it our foremost goal of the semester to host a memorable event that will both raise funds to support our troops and also prove enjoyable and profitable for Rutgers students, New Brunswick residents, and local business owners. 

Last year's event had over 350 students in attendance and was a huge success. The challenges at the event consisted of an obstacle course, physical challenges run by Rutgers University Army ROTC members, paintball shooting, and tug of war.  This year through corporate sponsorship we aim to improve the quality of each event as well as the overall experience for its participants.
