About the event

The MCM Entertainment Group is bringing you "For The Love Of Music" An Indie Artist Music Showcase on Saturday August 28th. Come join us as we are launching our Inaugural and historic musical introduction to the world live @ The Luxurious Cutting Room, Manhattan New York which is the perfect venue for live music. This classy yet funky concert venue with its diversity offers table service in a theater / concert style & bar setting. In short, one of the world's cornerstones of R&B, Classic Hip Hop and Jazz. This special night will spotlight and highlight some of the best musicians in the world. During this night you will be entertained by Hot 97's vey own Dj Wallah, The Beltway Horns featuring Mr. Greg Boyer (trombonist) who played for some of the greats, Parliament/Funkadelic, saxaphone legend Maceo Parker, Gap Band and Stanley Clarke just to name a few. The Beltway Horns will be accompanied by “Top 5 Band” who is one of the greatest touring bands around the world currently touring with R&B sensation Kevin Ross. The event will also showcase a host of other talented Indie artists that will be performing and paying homage to some of your favorite artist around the world. Enjoy the delicious food, great drink and champagne menu. Enjoy happy hour from 7pm-9pm with Hot 97's Dj Wallah and the showcase starts @ 9pm. Ladies and Gentlemen we are bringing you the best in live entertainment and we promise to make this a night you'll enjoy.

Why should you sponsor?

Our organization although may seem similar to an everyday record label is very different. We do not sign artists to a binding contract. Our goal is to further induce the independence of artists to help them further their careers as independent artists. Events such as "For the Love of Music" allows a space where true lovers of music, music artists, industry reps and live venue reps can all come together and sort out what is best for artists without the traditional politics of the music industry.

We pride ourselves in maintaining close, cohesive relationships with our artists, and our staff.  It is our goal to not only develop artists, but to develop long, mutually rewarding relationships.
