About the event
On January 17 and January 19, 2015 Courtney's Stars of Tomorrow is to present its Celebrating a King Concerts to commemorate the life and singular achievement of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. These concerts will feature legendary mezzo-soprano and 2009 Kennedy Center honoree Grace Bumbry as well as up-and-coming operatic talents Marquita Raley, Kali Wilder and Martin Woods. The United Palace Theater will play host to these events, which will also feature alumni of the Morehouse College Glee Club, the Brooklyn Ecumenical Choir, and the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church Chancel Choir.
