    Lutendo Choma

I am Lutendo Choma, FLOAM's fund raising, events, entertainment and communications manager. Future Leaders On An Academic mission (FLOAM) is a non-profit company registered with the Department of Social Development NPO No 208/327 and with the Companies of Intellectual and Properties Commission – CIPC Reg No 2018/259816/08. FLOAM was established in 2018 January by Morris Choma who is the organisation managing director and founder, Bigboy Madihlaba who is the co-founder and operations manager and Ophney Mahlaela who is the co-founder and the finance and admin director. The whole idea of establishing this organisation came after the founder had volunteered tutoring the matriculants in his former high school Matshumane Secondary School. Back then the program only had winter classes and it was a great time for both the founders and the learners. However due to the commitments the team had during those years, they were unable to run the program from 2015 to 2017. After the founder and co-founders realise the importance of education and how the program helped the matriculants of 2014 they decided to revive it, establish and register it with the relevant entities to continue its operations.
