About the event

A Moment of Magic is the original 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that allows college-age students to volunteer at children’s hospitals and social service institutions to provide creative programming. Our most popular services include Princess Visits, Superhero Visits, Personality Visits, Athlete Visits, Direct Family Support, and Inter-family Connection.

Our organization visits children in need free of charge to the institution. We provide services such as individual visits, bedside visits, group visits, story readings, and special events- just to name a few. We are the largest organization of our kind with 12 chapters all over the United States and 400+ volunteers.

Our week long National Chapter President Conference will train our chapter presidents to run their chapters efficentally and enable volunteers at their school to make dreams come true for medically vulnerable children in their area.

Pediatric cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease for children in the United States.
1 in 5 children diagnosed with pediatric cancer will not survive.
1 visit to that child is all it takes to fulfill their last wish.

A Moment of Magic has reached more than 5,000 children so far in 2017. This year we plan to reach more than 15,000 chidlren in 30 states and 5 countries. Your sponsorship will enable our 400+ volunteers to service the children in pediatric hospitals all over the country, and soon all over the world.

Kylee McGrane

Kylee McGrane is graduate of College of Mount Saint Vincent (Magna Cum Laude). and the Founder and Executive Director of A Moment of Magic. She is a recipient of Boston's 100 award, George W. Bush's Point of Light Award, C200 award, among others. Always inspired by the world around her, she founded A Moment of Magic  from a passion for working with children, excellent glitter skills, and dreams of spreading love and magic to those in need. She is passionate about creating a moment of magic for every deserving child and currently both operates the organization and continuously volunteers.
