About the event

TrepCon is the premier entrepreneurship conference at Fordham University, presented by the Fordham Entrepreneurship Society and the Gabelli School of Business, and sponsored by Deloitte. The 8th Annual TrepCon will bring together passionate entrepreneurs, creative self-starters, and industry leaders for a day of interactive panels, hands-on workshops, and networking. In catering to students and faculty within the Fordham community and to New York City’s working professionals, TrepCon is a celebration of all that entrepreneurship has to offer. Our event leaves attendees feeling inspired and gives them something tangible to utilize both in their careers and in their lives more generally.

The 2019 Fordham University 8th Annual Entrepreneurship Conference will bring together passionate entrepreneurs, creative self-starters, and industry leaders for a day of interactive panels, hands-on workshops, and networking. With 7 highly successful conferences to date, and 200 attendees on average from students and the NYC startup community, sponorship will help support our conference's mission to showcase the entreprenuerial community with a consistently high quality event.

James Merkel

My name is Jimmy Merkel and I am currently a senior at the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business, majoring in Business Administration. I serve as Vice President on the Executive Board of the Fordham Entrepreneurship Society and am interested in helping businesses leverage technology and apply innovative solutions tempered by pragmatism to become more competitive across global markets.
