Young Men Strong "1001001 Doing the Work, Invest in Yourself" Benefit Luncheon:

On Saturday, February 27, 2016 Young Men Strong will be having a benefit luncheon sponsored by Senior Pastor Katherine Corbett of New Life Christian Center located at 167 Fulton Ave. Hempstead, NY
 
Young Men Strong's 1001001 will have 250 guest attendees, which includes 10 Faith Based Leaders as the honorees. These powerful and well connected individuals will be bringing 10 young men ages 13 to 17 years old who are in need of a suit, which will be sponsored by Gerald Kersey's "THAT SUITS YOU' non profit organization. We are also looking for 100 Professional leaders from all background Business sectors to come together to make this moment a lasting impression.

Young Men Strong's THOUGHTS magazine was created to serve as a global platform designed to build the self esteem of males of color by showcasing the positive insights, real struggles and triumphs of everyday extraordinary males across the country and in the communities and these males are setting good examples that reinforce productive behaviors by providing valuable information for self-reflection and inspiration.

In addition to that, Young Men Strong's Self, Language, & Skill Training Program was designed to strengthen the gap between minority males of color and Corporate America. 1001001 Benefit Luncheon will raise funding for it's pilot program to service 12 young males of color ages 13-17 years old whom are in jeopardy of dropping out of school or not graduating. 

Honorable, Supervisor Kate Murray was invited to attend along with 100 Faith based Leaders and like minded organizations coming together to push forward our training/mentoring program and THOUGHTS Magazine. We come together as one as people who are doing the work, teaching our young males how to invest in themselves at our first live go fund me luncheon.

There will be at least 100 Faith Based Leaders in attendance
