Youth Summer Program for Underserved Community,

About the event

Anaheim Independencia Family Resource Center is offering a free Youth Summer Program. This 7 week program will expose children to team building challenges, computer programing, physical literacy, art, dance and character building lessons. It is designed for children 5-12 years old in hopes that it will allow them to develop good collaborative skills, build confidence, experience new hobbies and to develop their creativity.

The more we expose our underservd youth to enriching experiences the higher their aspirations will reach.

Victoria Escobedo

My name is Victoria and I was placed at AIFRC/CAPOC under the national service work program called AmeriCorps. I chose to dedicate a year of service in order to strengthen volunteer infrasture and support the youth program at AIFRC/CAPOC. I have worked hard to develop and create the summer youth program, but with insufficient funds it will not reach it's full potential.
