About the event

My Name is Gabriel Collins Zegar, CEO House of Shalom Entertainment. Disciplined in Office Technology and Management by Auchi Federal polytechnic, Edo state Nigeria. I hold the mantle of the general Overseer of a fast growing entertainment company here in Nigeria called the House of Shalom Entertainment, with branches already planted in 5 (five) different states with the Headquarters in Abuja, though we are young, but we've attained an appreciable level of popularity, for instance last year we hosted an event, THE FUTURE OF YESTERDAY as it was formerly called or known, which was an entertainment event developed to rehabilitate the youth of Africa, for them to understand and embrace their roles in the development of their Society and appreciating their individual gifts & talents.
The event started last year, 13th of December to be precised. And a total number of 1215 (one thousand two hundred and fifteen) guests came for this event, even though we only had few individuals who honourably donated various sums just to ensure the event was a success, we where still able to get one or two sponsorship deals from two local firms (MAMA T AQUA SUPPLIER & HAPPY EVER AFTERS NIG LTD) so we were able to maximize the money received and it all went well. A feedback system, was put in place so as to enable us develop and improve on the quality of organization which was applaudly high as at last year's. The feedback & Data gathering system, made us understand that we could & should make this year’s edition of the event better, bigger and overwhelming, so we gave a new name to this event as “YOUTH FOR CHANGE AFRICA" (YOFOCHA) with the Core aim of impacting positively into the lives of our youths, the importance of living right and being the change Africa lacks and needs also to be good families of tomorrow and help them develop their careers and dreams, to teach them the ways and values of the old (morals) and their mistakes of today, how to make their future refined and redefined. This event has been designed to promote high self esteem in the lives of our youths, physical and mental development, importance of education and entrepreneurship, values of patriotism and good leadership.
We know quite well that the world can be easily captivated through entertainment so we've decided to achieve this aims through the method of entertainment & in a competitive form.
This event has been designed to hold in this form
Day 1- Youth for change Africa's Talent hunt Audition (13yrs - 19yrs)

Day 2 - Youth for change Africa's Audition (20yrs & above)

Day 3 - competition Proper for both age Categories

Day 4 - GALA & VARIETY NIGHT....featuring (Award presentation to various winners, Special performances by, ASA, TY, BELLO, TIMI DAKOLO, YEMI ALADE and any available renowned Nigerian comedian (2 of them) LIVE STAGE ART PERFORMANCE BY HOST & PLANTINUM SPONSORS. MESSAGE OF CHANGE By any great patriot of Nigeria .
The proposed venue & date for this event is Art & Culture center Abuja Nigeria

sponsor logos.
13. The medals and award gift will have your firms logo inscribed on it
14. Sponsors will be allowed to setup structures that will enable them market their products and service

This event will be streamed live to all android, MAC and windows devices (with the name of our sponsors) Sending of bulk SMS to over 500000 people (with name of our sponsors) and To be advertised on AIT, CHANNELS TV, WAZOBIA FM , RHYTHM 94.7 FM and NTA CHANNEL5, NTA 24. Starting from 20th of October 2014- till end of event. Making of banners and bills. And we are going to publish this event On social networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and our Blog) with our sponsors logos attached.
