About our event

Young People in Public Relations (YPPR) is an organization that aims to educate our up-and-coming young professionals in the PR industry. What we believe the public relations industry lacks is the effort and ability to educate about the actual career field and the hands-on process of working in the field.

We should allow our young PR professionals the opportunity to work as a publicist before they begin their journey after high school and college. This will allow them to be better prepared and able to succeed in their internships and corporate careers.

YPPR allows PR professionals from all over to volunteer their knowledge and expertise to new and budding PR and communication professionals. The goal is to share knowledge, resources and tools with interested candidates to help them prosper and learn how to maximize publicity efforts for both small and large brands.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We are a group of millennials and vetern publicists who specialize in publicizing brands and products to the general public. As a unit, we have tons of success stories that helped brands land million dollar contracts and also secure their very first media segment on the national level.

We are also a large group of individuals who are social media savvy! We post your products, hashtags and reviews all over for people to see, ultimately giving your brand a voice amongst professionals, which leads to more clientele.

She creates her own graphics, websites, logos, and content for her business. She’s also been able to get coverage for her clients in the Michigan Chronicle, WXYZ and Channel 4 News, plus more.

Since 2018, Brittany has conducted a social networking event in various cities, allowing young professionals to connect and converse with veterans, freeing them to share their stories of triumph and tribulations and make way internship and professional opportunities to flourish.

Young People in Public Relations (YPPR), has been regarded by attendees as one of best helping hand workshops. We provide a space for all communications and media relations professionals, distinguished and aspiring, to fellowship, network, and build relationships. From opening that one door, many more are then created.
