The Youth Empowerment Day Conference Series for Young Men
The Young Gentlemen’s Institute Conference in Washington, DC is here! Two organizations have teamed up and are hosting a conference just for young men to help teach them vital skills for success in a changing world. In a powerful day-long event, we’ll be focusing on four areas with the young men: leadership, etiquette, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
The conference will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2015, from 8a to 4p at the beautiful R.I.S.E. Demonstration Center (2730 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, SE, Washington, DC 20032) and will feature 4 powerful workshops, 9 dynamic speaker-presenters, breakfast and lunch along with a host of resources.
The conference is open to all young men, ages 11-19. Business attire is mandatory for all attendees to ensure they have the proper mindset. There is an investment of $40/young man but the information will be pivotal for planting the seeds for the young men to reframe the vision of themselves.
The two organizations leading the conference are Millionaire Manners Academy and Shotown, Inc. Both these organizations believe in the greatness of our youth and work directly with young people to this end. The Young Gentlemen’s Institute Conference Series is so critical because it aims to address some of the major issues facing our young men today: the lack of exposure and opportunity. By assembling a collective of strong figures presenting practical information, we have the expectation that each and every young man will be different after attending.
