About the event
"You Oughta Been There" is a new hit Stage Play set to come out May of this year in hopes of touring across America. It is based on a true story of how one can deal with and battle so much yet still come out on top. It takes you through a roller coaster of events that makes one wonder how did someone make it through all of that and not loose their mind. It is geared to help other who may be dealing with the same issues and don't know how they will survive. How many people are facing difficulties such as cancer, or being abused, trying to cope with rape, being left for dead, betrayal, having their family turn their backs on them because of their lifestyle choices, dealing with the loss of a child(ren), attempting suicide? There are plenty of people who are dealing with these same issues but feel alone and as if no one cares or knows how they feel. Some people just give up and would rather be dead than deal with it. We all want that sense of being wanted and by certain people in our lives but if we don't get that then we feel as if there is no hope in this cold, cruel world. This play will make you laugh, cry, think, get excited, angry, sympathetic, leave you full of emotions,but will give you the hope, courage and reasons to keep fighting. But in the end it will ultimately leave you saying, "You Oughta Been There"
