About the event
From the 1st till the 8th of June ConIFA (the Confederation of Independent Football Associations) will organize the first World Football Cup in Sweden. ConIFA is a new football federation, that bounds all unrepresented countries, people and nations. In Östersund twelve teams will compete to win the first World Football Cup: Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Ellan Vannin, Kurdistan, South-Ossetia, County of Nice, Occitania, Padania, Tamil Eelam, Darfur United, Aramean Suryoye and Sapmi. The tournament will be hosted by the Sapmi, and will be played in the stadium of Östersund FK. People all over the world are already looking forward to this unique event, as it is the start of very interesting and ambitious new football federation. The most important aim: bridging the world through football. Let’s play!
