World Challenge India 2016,

About the event

Dear,

I am Bertie Russell and through a company called World Challenge, I have signed up for a 2 year programme to take part in a 3-week educational expedition to India, which will involve trekking through Kochi and working on a community project. The community project will involve working alongside the local people and renovating a local school building either classrooms or clean water/ drainage systems; all which benefit the lives of people.

This opportunity is a challenging expedition that will significantly benefit the local community and will teach the team valuable life skills such as leadership, communication and team work.We have the task of raising £3,595 each through fundraising to cover all our costs for the expedition as well as buying kit. Tis money would be spent on aiding the fundraising, buying kit and/or buying items to bring fro the locals such as rugby balls, In order to raise the funds I have organised several events with my team, which include a school disco and a quiz. As well as this I have attended car boot sales at the weekends and offer my neighbours an odd job service.

I am writing to you to see if your company would be interested in sponsoring me for this expedition. By sponsoring me your company would benefit from the publicity and to gain you more coverage I could wear your branded clothing at my fundraising events as well as on expedition. Pictures, with your permission would be seen all over the place, showing your positive contribution to benefiting the less fortunates live’s. Any amount would be appreciated.
