WE WANT WOMEN IN THE SYSTEM TO HAVE THE TOOLS AND SKILLS TO MOVE BEYOND THE POETRY OF CHANGE TO ACTION.
It is a concept in which solutions to complex problems are developed in a short time. It lasts 12 hours, and is dedicated empowering women. Participants work in small groups in an environment that fosters creative thinking, collective intelligence and teamwork and leads to surprisingly innovative new ideas, concepts and prototypes. They are conducted in competition mode and the team with the most viable and innovative solution, chosen by the jury (experts in the field), wins the prize proposed by the organization.
The participants we are looking for are young women between 20 and 30 years old who have to enter or have recently entered the market and want to acquire the necessary skills to carry out innovative change actions.
Day one:
In Korea:
It will take place from 9am to 5pm. (Korean timezone) It will be facilitated by Spanish and Korean women, and conducted in English and Korean in an on-site format.
In Spain:
It will take place from 9am to 5pm. (Spanish timezone) It will be facilitated by Spanish women and conducted in English and Spanish in an on-site format.
The format:
Second day:
It will take place at 6 p.m. in Korea and at 11 a.m. in Spain. It will be online and videos with the groups' solutions will be presented. A jury will vote for the best solution. Finally, prizes will be awarded.
Open-mic:
During the day of the presentation, once the videos with the pitches of the final ideas have been viewed, we will hold an Open-mic. While the juries deliberate the winning idea, the members of the hackathon will have the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial projects so that the community can get to know them and even receive feedback from the other participants. We want to give a voice to women entrepreneurs and therefore we give them the opportunity to enhance their pitch.
All these phases are carried out on the day of the event by different teams and to ensure that everything goes smoothly, the figure of the facilitator (cathalyst) is introduced: a person in charge of the teams' action and understanding of the process and ensuring that they reach relevant results. The facilitator is an expert in the methodology who will be watching over the entire day to ensure the smooth functioning of the teams. This is a person who builds a close relationship with the work team so that they feel comfortable trying to get the best out of themselves.
EVIDENCES WE WILL OBTAIN:
1. VÍDEO OF THE SOLUTION
Each group must make a video explaining their solution to the jury and its feasibility. Creativity is valued.
2. V-BLOG OF THE EXPERIENCE
Teams will create a video blog of the experience documenting their learnings and best moments to have for prosperity.
3. NEW IDEAS AND PROJECTS
New ideas that can lead to entrepreneurial projects that can be carried out so that women can drive change in the system.

We are looking for sponsors and/or collaborators who are committed to equality in their organization to close the gap and want to be part of a women's empowerment movement in Spain and Korea. It is not the industry that is important, it is the values and the way of thinking. Our event will help companies to have a better presence in the feminist movement and to be part of the change system both in social networks and in the business ecosystem. The benefits they will get will be at the level of marketing and communication in the dissemination of their brand and attracting new potential customers in two very different geographical areas such as Spain and the Republic of Korea.
Benefits for your company: Increased impressions in RRSS (Instagram friendly event) Creation of content for the company's social media channels to increase its value and create presence with the female empowerment movement and create greater engagement with the female target. Gathering of potential customers in the Korean and Spanish market. Visibility to women between 20/30 years old, self-sufficient and willing to generate change and bet on their values and thoughts. Grow the client portfolio by gaining access to the specific demographic: Spanish and Korean women.
In LIWO we drive human-centered design and futurist thinking throughout an organization. This is why we are called catalysts. Instead of being responsible for generating new ideas and stewarding innovation on our own, we see it as a facilitative role where we are helping everyone from an organization meet its goal. That means communications, training, and processes such as workshops where the entire rest of the organization is bringing good ideas to fruition. We start training employees on innovation from day one; in fact, it’s part of employee onboarding in which all new employees are invited to share their ideas and be part of the change happening in the organization.
We are in a period of revolution in which the market is changing faster and faster. We find ourselves in the transition from Knowledge Economy to Innovation Economy. When knowledge becomes available to everyone due to the use of Internet, the execution and implementation become more important than the idea. It is no longer about "me" but about "we", it's about sharing ideas, recieveing feedback and being able to carry out the best services and products. That's why our methodology is based on teamwork, communication and practical uses.
Challenges are becoming bigger and more abstract, that's why at LIWO we work with all kinds. Some can be: attracting new customers from specific generations; the implementation of a new organizational culture in a department; the change from traditional thinking to an innovation mindset, customer loyalty and engagement through online channels; the creation of new services/products aimed at solving customer needs; the monetization of new concepts... among many others. Once the challenge is defined, we adapt our methodology to extract the most optimal solutions.
Our team is formed by multifaceted profiles specialized in agile methodologies such as Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Visual Thinking, Moonshot Thinking...
We were born into the innovation mindset era, have left behind and are fighting agains traditional mindset, and that is why we have and empower soft skills such as:
Our training has been on Innovation, Entepreneurship and Leadership in Spain. We empower the experiential learning: "learning by doing", it's our main fundation. All members have been working for more than 3 years with agile methodologies applied in Hackathons, facilitations of dynamics, certification workshops of some of these methodologies, and constantly working with these for the resolution of challenges for companies in Spain, Costa Rica, Finland and Germany. What do we want to do in Korea? Contribute our value as native entrepreneurs of the Innovation era. Explore the market and build synergies and interesting collaborations that can make us grow as learners and professionals.
