Women Impacting Neighborhoods (WIN), is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. Our mission is to creatively inspire and empower women and girls to be prolific members of society through self-awareness of innate skills to strengthen themselves, as well as their communities. WIN merged from a women’s social group to an operational organization as we began to discover that women in several communities have a great need for life skills, educational resources and emotional and financial support. We aim to empower women and girls, establish connections with local businesses and other non-profits and also become involved with the community issues surrounding women in order to create impactful changes.
We continue to also provide a social but yet confidential platform for women and girls looking to enhance their community involvement by assisting our organization with new ways to further enhance our mission. Our team of profound Ambassadors and Volunteers consists of women of all ages and cultural backgrounds who are mothers, wives, single women, students and also career professionals. These women utilize our platform to share their life experiences and acquired knowledge to assist in empowering, connecting and involving themselves with other women in our communities.
Since our inception in 2017, we have donated goods to substance abuse and homeless shelters, contributed to daycare expenses for women in the community and have also hosted a great deal of fundraising events to assist us in facilitating our continued contributions within the community.
