Women Techmakers is a program created by Google to provides visibility, community, and resources for women in technology.
The Berlin chapter was established in 2015, and has been active on a weekly basis since. Our events range across study groups, fireside chats and other events to form a network for Berlin's women in tech. All our events are inclusive and all genders are always welcome.
The Women Techmakers Global Event Series celebrating International Women's Day takes place annualy in March-April. This year's theme is Telling Our Story.
The Berlin chapter's event will take place on 08/03 at the spaceship/hackerspace C-base, and will include tech talks, soft-skills talks, hiring booths for people of diversity in Berlin and a vinyl cutter machine.
You should sponsor the event if you want to contribute to increasing the diversity in the Berlin tech scene.
The Berlin chapter of Women Techmakers offers study groups in tech fields, a network to find a mentor, and the toold to get hired - as an intern, as a senior and as anyone in between.
