Women's International Parkour Weekend,

About the event

This event is exclusively for women. A chance for women of all abilities to train together and share an experience like no other.

This two-day training event will be run by the world’s most experienced female coaches of parkour/freerunning and physical fitness, and will provide a fantastic way for newcomers to find their feet in the discipline as well as challenging even the most experienced female practitioner.

The first day of the event will be held exclusively at various outdoor training hotspots in London, while the second day of the event will be held at the UK’s hub for the discipline, our own Chainstore Gym & Parkour Academy in East London.

Day 1 will consist of Parkour workshops taught by some of the world's top female coaches, learning movements to help overcome obstacles, outdoors, in various well known areas of London. This will then be followed by some Free Training, where participants will be able to practice what they have learnt, hone some skills of their own and get creative with their movement, this section is completely open for the practitioners to train as they please.

Day 2 will be held at the Chainstore Gym & Parkour Academy in East London. Set alongside the river, this facility is designed purely for the purpose of parkour, boasting a large scaffold structure within alongside concrete blocks as well as equipment that can be moved around to suit the practitioners needs. In the morning there will be more workshops held within the facility followed by modules in the afternoon that include: Body Weight Conditioning, Weighted Training and Yoga. The Weekend will then be rounded off by group discussion.
