About the event
Wollongong Film festival is about celebrating Women in Film both on and off screen with all proceeds going to One Girl.
It is about giving a voice to Women Filmmakers and a voice to Women's stories.
Let's promote and award the talents of Women in the Australian and International film industry while supporting Girl’s Education.
Wollongong Film Festival offers established and emerging Filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their various talents by accepting all film genres as long as a woman is in one of the following key positions on the film:

Why should you sponsor?
The film festival will be an annual event starting this year with a one day event and eventually building to a five day event over multiple locations in the Illawarra.
The film festival will have not only a local reach but a national and international reach as the films being submitted come from all over the world.
The Venue screening is in the Illawarra with this years audience restricted to 200 but with the online screening option, the online audience is unrestricted so viewers aren't restricted to the local area.
Local audience reach is planned for annual growth as the sessions gradually increase from one day to five days.
We understand sponsorship needs to be mutually beneficial, we want to work with our potential sponsors to figure out the best package for them based on their needs.

Gia FrinoFilmmaker, Gia Frino, will bring an annual film festival to the Illawarra for local and international female creatives while raising money for One Girl’s Do It In a Dress campaign.
WFF founder Gia Frino brings her vast experience in the entertainment industry to the festival. Having worked in various production management roles over the past few years she thought "How could I support Women in Film and filmmakers, support a great cause like One Girl and contribute to the local community? I know it's not a new idea but Wollongong Film Festival is what I came up with"
As Ms Frino is a One Girl ambassador, the WFF will donate the proceeds from the event to the Do It In a Dress campaign. Do It In a Dress is a fundraising initiative from One Girl Foundation

Your business will be advertised at the start of the film screenings both at the Venue screening and online screenings. During the award ceremony your business logo and details will be displayed on screen while the award your business has sponsored is being announced. We will also be doing a live streaming of the awards via Facebook. Your business details and logo will also be promoted on our website sponsorship page with a link to your business website. You will also receive five social media posts promoting your business via our social media platforms. We will display supplied signage at the venue. If Film Award Sponsorship is not for your business this year, you could also advertise your business in our program $70 for a full page, $40 for a half page and $25 dollars for a quarter page. Feel free to contact us if you would like to contribute in some other form, we want Wollongong Film Festival to engage our local community
