Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter is the nonprofit fundraising partner of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter.  By funding emergency medical care, dental care, spay and neuter for community cats, parastie prevention,animal enrichment programs, and so much more, Friends joins in the Shelter's efforts to ensure every pet is offered the best opportnity to find and remain in a loving forever home.

Since 2006 Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter has been the recognized independent nonprofit fundraising partner of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter. Our animal loving community provides funds to Friends of FCAS above and beyond what the Shelter receives in their annual budget to care for pets at the Shelter while they are at their home between homes.
