About the event
Wimbledon Rugby Club is a founding member of the RFU and this year celebrates it's 150th Anniversary. A club steeped in history and tradition and now boasting thousands of members we are all coming together to celebrate this momentous achievement. The club hosts 3 senior men's teams, a mens strollers team, a ladies team, minis teams for every age from under 6 through to 16, youth teams for 17 and 18 year olds and an inclusive rugby team. Every single age group has its own coaches and managers and each weekend the club hosts hundreds of parents and players enjoying it's atmosphere and facilities.
This year the men's first team have won their league and are being promoted so there is much to celebrate. The current head coaches are Nick Easter (England/ Harlequins) and Tim Payne (England/ Wasps).
On the 12th September we will be holding a black tie ball to celebrate this anniversary for 500 guests. A glamorous 50m marquee will be erected on the grounds of the club and a 5* 3 course meal will be served.
On the eve of the World Cup kicking off in Twickenham we will host a 'World Cup Q&A' with Nick Easter, Tim Payne, members of the ladies world cup winning team and more guests TBA.
The evening will include a champagne reception, auction and live band.
It will be an occasion not to be missed and an opportunity to reach a large section of businesspeople/ sportspeople and parents in South West London.

All marketing emails will include the sponsors logo, website and some short agreed text. The organiser’s emails can also display a signature promoting the sponsor. Our extensive email list can also be used to send out any offers or advertising from the sponsor, one per month prior to the event. The sponsor has the opportunity to use the rugby club website for advertising and their logo will be added to the sponsors page. On the event night the sponsor will get a full A5 page for advertising in the commemorative booklet, plus their logo displayed on large screens, mentions by the MC and logo displayed in the entrance. They will have a table for 10 people (tickets sold at £100 each) with a 3 course meal inc wine and beer and an opportunity to meet with the guest speakers plus photographs.
