About the event
Over the last four years, Wicked Hathern Fest, in the Leicestershire village of Hathern, has grown from small beginnings to become a must-go-to event for the area.
The 2016 line-up has now been announced and this year we have booked Mowtown Legends Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and 90's indie band Dodgy. For the first time in the festival’s history we have booked known artist rather than tribute acts to headline our event. Both artists are internationally known and have sold millions of records and a platinum-selling UK group, as well as the usual mix up and coming and local acts.
Wicked Hathern Fest kicks off on the Friday night with a pre-event warm-up party featuring music from great local and regional artists, leading into the main Saturday event which will take place over two stages.
As well as the main stage, there is an acoustic stage in the bar tent, which transforms into a comedy stage later in the evening.

Our sponsors are vital to the running of our festival, without them we just wouldn't exist. Our Main Stage, Acoustic Stage, Bar, Kids Zone & Campsite are all sponsored by businesses and there is also plenty of opportunity for getting your business involved with WHF too by becoming an Associate Business.

We are always looking for businesses who will work with us to provide services for our visitors or to help us with the set-up and take down of the site.

Graham SpencerHathern Village Association was created by a group of volunteer villagers with the aim of restoring Hathern's community events to their former glory.
HVA began in 2011 with the purpose or organising a street party for the royal wedding of William and Catherine. Since then the organisation has grown from strength to strength and now produces three main events per year for the village of Hathern. The continuing purpose of the association is to organise fun events for the village and to keep the spirit of village life alive.
Hathern Village Association prides itself in working with other local groups to help them further their needs too. Hathern Parish Church, Hathern School, Hathern Youth Club and Hathern Open Gardens all work closely with HVA.
We now run and manage 'Hathern Carnival & Village Fete' jointly with Hathern School & the FPTA, 'Wicked Hathern Fest' and the 'Firework And Bonfire Party'. We also support 'Hathern Open Gardens' and the 'Christmas Tree Festival' which are run by Hathern Church.
HVA don't set out to raise money. Our aim is to purely put on some fantastic events for everyone in Hathern and the surrounding area. 'Hathern Carnival & Village Fete' is a free event and all costs for this are absorbed by HVA. 'Wicked Hathern Fest' costs us around £35,000 to organise and run so the bulk of our money is being absorbed by that.

The Acoustic and Comedy stage will be located within the large marquee which also houses the bar, perfect in case of in advertent weather! The Festival Sponsor will benefit from signage featuring their information on the front of the Main Stage and fully branded advertising throughout the site.The Main Stage will be in use for the Saturday phase of the festival so provides one of the best opportunities for sponsorship due to the highly visible nature. The stage will also be referred to as the 'Name Of Business Stage' Your company logo will be included on all WHF'16 advertising, including on the front page of thefestival programme, the WHF'16 website and the Main Stage page of the WHF16 website. Included within the sponsorship package is a half-page editorial within the festival programme to welcome the festival-goers plus the full the back page of the programme for an advert of your choice. For WHF16 camping will be available on both the Friday and Saturday nights, meaning increased exposure compared with WHF15. There will be sufficient space for approximately 250 camping pitches, and your company information will be exclusively featured within the Camping Area and also within the main arena at the entrance to the campsite. Your company logo will be included on all WHF16 advertising associated with the Camping Area, including on the relevant page of the WHF16 website.
