About the event
The Nigerian Student Association presents a White charity gala. The purpose of this gala is to raise awareness for poor global health conditions, and to raise funds for the Maternal Cords Foundation. The Maternal Cords Foundation is a charity organization founded by three Nigerian American doctors that are passionate about providing medical care for people in rural nigeria, it provides local people in rural villages, with free medical care, medicines, and general health education. This foundation is doing great things in rural Nigeria, and we as the Nigerian Student Association would like to support them with funds and resources to expand their mission to more villages in Nigeria, especially to the regions that has been affected by Boko Haram terror group and other terrorist affiliated organizations, and eventually to other neighbouring West African countries. We would like sponsors to help us in our fight against poor health care in Africa, Nigeria in particular, and our fight against terrorism. The color for the event is all white, and guests of the events are asked to wear all white to show their support and their stand against terrorism, and bloodshed of the innocent. The cause of this event is especially personal and dear to our hearts, as this affects our relatives, friends and family members, and people we know personally. We ask everyone to please help us in our cause and to stand up against terrorism and a corrupt health care system.
