  • About the event

Surviving and Thriving Beneath the Burden of Student Loans

    Thursday, February 18, 2021

    5 - 7 pm, PST

Chances are, as a therapist you’re carrying significant student debt—and the anxiety that goes with it. Finishing graduate school can mean having several hundred thousands of dollars in loans, and yet therapists’ salaries can start at just $40,000, making it hard to thrive in your chosen field.

Join us for a discussion about the anxiety of student loans within the therapist community. Our panel of experts will share resources and strategies for managing the financial burden. By discussing everything from student loan forgiveness programs to setting boundaries with your own session fees, they’ll help you learn ways to manage the emotional toll so you can continue in your practice with greater ease and confidence.

    Speakers: Dr. Rosché Brown

    Moderated by: Dr. Ankhesenamun Ball
