About the event

Music is the Therapy of the soul. On February 10th we’ll be launching the first-ever We Choose Love House Concert in El Paso, Texas in support of Heart Health Awareness Month!

At a time where heart disease remains El Paso’s leading cause of death it’s  time to choose loving ourselves enough to take care of ourselves! As the  city hopes to improve those numbers by building more parks and trail-ways, we want to use the platform of music to bring awareness to the importance of maintaining good heart health. As research has shown, music has been known to benefit us in many ways, such as helping improve the quality of life for people with physical health problems, such as heart failures. While  offering a non-pharmacological intervention we extend an invitation for your sponsorship consideration as we launch our in-home benefit concerts series for thousands of El Pasoans to enjoy through our live streaming.platforms. This will be utilitized as both a platform Cardiovascular education and entertainment.

Get an up close and intimate experience of the Ryan G Band, Jordan Taylor, the Pie Sisters, and Justin Rodrigues as they remind us of the power of a good heart!  You can look forward to some twists and turns with both cover and original music played. Join us online and/or  in-person  to enjoy delicious food & drinks in a relaxed setting among friends new and old. Reserve your spot and come groove with us!

Proceeds from this House Concert will support artist fees and the American Heart Association REACH program.

Why should you sponsor?

We Choose Love Home Concert  is  a chance to highlight the American Heart Association REACH Program. As Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) is a national program administered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reduce racial and ethnic health disparities in El Paso, TX; we believe that February marks the perfect month to bring awareness. The American Heart Association’s REACH program has 3 Priority Areas – Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Tobacco-Free Living. Our goal in giving contribution to the REACH program is to assist El Pasoan’s bu establishing healthy nutrition standards in key institutions such as hospitals, after school and recreation programs, community health centers, faith-based organizations and food banks/pantries to increase the availability of healthy food choices.

Deon Kendrick , an award winning, executive producer and founder of The You're Worth More Experience, is leading the way in cause-driven projects throughout west Texas. This year he earned two community commendations for for his work on Cocktails and Carols & The You're Worth More Experience. Deon Kendrick is dedicated to reminding the country that each person is a person of worth, value, and significance.
