About the event

You and your colleagues are invited to join us for the 8th annual Water Ball on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Roughly 400 educators, business and community leaders and other individuals will come together for an inspiring evening to celebrate the power of partnerships between students in the U.S. and students in the developing world who urgently need clean water, sanitation and hygiene education. The Water Ball raises funds to support H2O for Life’s service learning projects that engage U.S. youth to learn about and take action focused on the global water crisis and local water conservation issues. Guests will hear first-hand how participating in H2O for Life is life-changing for Minnesota students.

On Friday, September 22, 2017, H2O for Life will proudly host the 8th Annual Water Ball celebrating youth service-learning providing solutions for the global water crisis.  U.S. students are providing help to fellow students around the world who desperately need access to clean water and sanitation.  Many schools in Minnesota are participating in our program and are making a difference!
More than 400 educators, businesses and community leaders will join us at the McNamara Center at the University of Minnesota for an inspiring evening where everyone has the opportunity to make a difference. The evening includes a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, gourmet dinner, youth-inspired activities, and entertainment. 
We invite you to share in our event by investing in a level of sponsorship that will bring shared value to your business. Level of visibility, media presence, recognition and signage are varied. Your assistance will provide local youth the opportunity to learn about the global water crisis and participate in our meaningful global service-learning project- providing water and sanitation for schools.
H2O for Life is a small organization with a BIG impact. In 2016, more than 80,500 students in 170 U.S. schools helped raised over $350,000 for clean water, sanitation and hygiene education projects. We are especially proud of the work in Minnesota where more than 70 schools have been involved.

My name is Kelly Wrobel and I am the Director of Development for an organization called H2O for Life. our EIN number is 26-0338552 and we are celebrating our tenth year as an orgnaization. This will be our first time hosting the event in Minneapolis and we look forward to havinga successful night with a live auction, silent auction, African store, raffle and more. One of our long time NGO partners will be speaking (John Travis) as will a teacher and student of our programs.
